 Fall17 Group Fitness Schedule

All classes take place in the Memorial Hall Fitness Studio
Classes run for 45 minutes unless otherwise noted

30/30: 30 second intervals of strength and/or ab training for only 30 minutes. This class works to build muscle and
tone your body.
Cardio: 45 minutes of nonstop movement to get your body up and moving. The class begins with simple exercises
and advances to high energy, calorie burning workouts. Work on core, legs, and upper body with cardio, then cool
down with stretches.
Cardio Kick: Cardio kickboxing is a non-contact group fitness class that combines martial arts techniques with fast-
paced cardio. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Build stamina, improve
coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout.
Cycling: Is a great workout that can be tailored to all levels: for our seasoned athletes, fitness fanatics, and exercise
beginners. A typical class involves an instructor who leads the participants through routines that are designed to
simulate terrain and situations similar to riding a bike outdoors, all at a self-directed pace. Movements and
positions include hill climbs, sprints, and interval training. Instructors use music, motivation, visualization, and
coaching to lead students through a ride that best suits their fitness level and goals. More than just a great workout
– indoor cycling creates a sense of community, shared purpose, and lasting lifestyle change. Of course if you're
looking for a calorie-burning, energizing, fun workout, we can help with that too.
Hard HIITin: Come get your sweat on with High Intensity Interval Training; a training technique in which you give
all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active,
recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time
Yoga: This is an introductory-level class that can be taken to a higher level if you've had practice. For some, yoga is
purely a physical pursuit, keeping the body toned, strong and flexible. For others, it becomes more of a mindset
and a way of living. Yoga, like life is about finding bliss and serenity in the moment. So come in, relax, and learn to 'be' your Yoga.
Water Aerobics: Aerobic activity in swimming pool located in Kaiser Hall. Entrance through locker rooms.
Zumba™: We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style,
calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba ® Fitness classes
are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check!!!
